Rooms at the Coast Hotel beside Cascades Casino Langley
I treat the rooms here as the practical side of a Langley stay: a Coast Hotels room adjoining Cascades Casino Resort, close to the convention centre and downtown Langley City. Coast publishes the room categories and the main in-room features, but not room sizes. That matters when you are choosing between two queens, a king, a sofa bed, an accessible room, or a suite.
Home › Rooms
| Room type | What Coast publishes | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Coast Two Queens | Two queen beds, described as triple-sheeted; TV, mini fridge and work desk; up to four guests. | Two friends, two colleagues, or a family group that wants separate beds without moving into a suite. |
| Coast King | One king bed; TV, lounge chair, mini fridge and work desk. | A solo guest or couple who wants the simpler king layout and a desk for a laptop. |
| Coast Queen with Sofa Bed | Queen bed plus sofa bed; large corner room, large work desk and mini fridge. | A guest who wants a little more spread-out space, or a small party that needs the sofa bed. |
| Coast Accessible Queen | Queen bed; toilet grab bars and roll-in shower. | A guest who needs the specific accessible bathroom features Coast publishes. |
| Coast Hospitality Suite | Private king bedroom, sofa bed in the sitting area and wet bar. | A longer stay, a couple wanting a separate sitting area, or a guest hosting a small in-room visit. |
| Coast Executive Suite with Balcony | Private bedroom, sitting and dining area and balcony; bed type not stated in the verified room detail. | A guest who values a separate dining area and balcony, and who should confirm the bed type before booking. |
What Coast publishes about the rooms
The hotel attached to Cascades Casino Resort is the Coast Hotel, branded by Coast Hotels. The casino itself is operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment, so I keep the two sides separate when I describe the property. Coast lists six room categories: Coast Two Queens, Coast King, Coast Queen with Sofa Bed, Coast Accessible Queen, Coast Hospitality Suite, and Coast Executive Suite with Balcony.
Across the published room descriptions, the useful basics are clear. The Coast Two Queens has two queen beds, described as triple-sheeted, plus a TV, mini fridge and work desk, and Coast says it can take up to four guests. The Coast King has one king bed, a TV, lounge chair, mini fridge and work desk. The Coast Queen with Sofa Bed is described as a large corner room with a queen bed, sofa bed, large work desk and mini fridge.
For access needs, Coast lists a Coast Accessible Queen with a queen bed, toilet grab bars and a roll-in shower. The booking page also has a “Show Accessible Rooms Only” filter and a Notice of Accessibility link. For more space, Coast publishes two suite categories: a Coast Hospitality Suite with a private king bedroom, sofa bed in the sitting area and wet bar, and a Coast Executive Suite with Balcony, which has a private bedroom, sitting and dining area and balcony. Coast does not state the bed type for that private bedroom in the published detail I could verify.

What I would ask for
When I send a room request for this hotel, I keep the wording plain. If sleep is the first priority, I ask for a quiet side of the hotel, away from elevators and high-traffic interior areas if available. If the view or street position matters to you, ask for a higher floor in general terms. I would not promise either request, because Coast publishes the categories, not a floor-by-floor map.
If you are arriving by transit with bags, it is worth choosing the room type before you travel rather than sorting it out at the desk. The hotel is in downtown Langley City at 20393 Fraser Highway, and the main car-free approach is SkyTrain to Surrey or King George area connections, then TransLink bus service toward Langley Centre. The exact route and frequency should be checked with TransLink before travel; I lay out only the verified route information on the getting there without a car page.
For a pair of friends, the Coast Two Queens is the cleanest request because the bedding is published. For one person working between meetings, I would start with the Coast King or Coast Queen with Sofa Bed, depending on how much desk and sitting space you want. For an accessible stay, ask for the Coast Accessible Queen by name and repeat the required features in the request, especially the roll-in shower. For a suite, I would say exactly whether you need the sofa bed, wet bar, balcony, or dining area, because those features differ by suite type.
What the hotel does not publish
There are several gaps I would rather name than cover over. Coast does not publish room sizes in the room detail I checked. I also could not verify a complete list of views, exact floor locations, connecting-room inventory, hypoallergenic-room inventory, or a full kitchenette list from the hotel’s published room descriptions. A search snippet suggests some rooms have a kitchenette, but I would not rely on that without confirmation from the hotel.
The pet note is also partial. Coast says pets are welcome in some rooms, but the separate fee and limits page returned a 404 when checked. If you are travelling with an animal, ask for a pet-welcome room and request the current fee, size rules and any limits before you treat the stay as confirmed. The questions page keeps these uncertain items separate from the facts Coast publishes directly.
Check-in is published as 3pm and check-out as 12pm. Early check-in and late check-out are on request, and fees may apply. That is useful for a Fraser Valley weekend, especially if you want to leave bags before taking time for the Fraser Valley, Fort Langley, nearby farms, or wineries in the wider Langley area. I would still ask the hotel directly about luggage timing, because the verified facts do not give a separate luggage-storage policy.
A note for casino-side stays
The hotel welcomes room guests through Coast Hotels, while the casino floor next door is a separate, regulated area operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment. In British Columbia, casino entry is 19+ and government-issued photo ID is required at the door. Minors cannot enter the gaming floor. I mention that here because room choice and casino access are sometimes mixed together in people’s minds, but they are not the same thing.
If your stay is for a convention, a family visit, or a calm base in Langley City, the room request can simply stay focused on sleep, bedding and access needs. The adjoining convention centre has its own role, with adaptable venue space, and I cover that separately on the convention centre page. If dining is part of the evening, use the verified restaurant list on the restaurants page rather than assuming every older venue name is still current.
For rates, member pricing or direct availability, Coast’s official booking path is the place to verify the live offer: coasthotels.com. This independent site can help phrase a room request, but it does not guarantee a room category, price, view, floor, early arrival or late departure. Those are confirmed only when the hotel or booking partner replies.
